Mr. Vinson received his BA in Government from Notre Dame in 1965. He was commissioned into US Army Intelligence, serving four years with assignments in Viet Nam and Europe. He rose to the rank of Captain. He entered the financial services profession in Boston in 1970. He became a Chartered Life Underwriter in 1974 and a Chartered Financial Consultant in 1987. He achieved the designation "Certified in Long-Term Care--CLTC" in 2006. He is President of Vinson Associates which he founded in 1991. In addition to management responsibilities, he consults with clients and associates of the firm on estate and business planning, retirement strategies and investment advisory services. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and Past President of the Western Massachusetts Chapter of the General Agents and Managers Association International. Pete and his wife, Kitty, reside in Wilbraham, MA. They have two grown children and two grandchildren. He is Past President of the Wilbraham Lions Club and maintains an active interest in his Alma Mater. Registered Principal; Investment Advisor Representative, Securian Financial Services, Inc.
